Job Description:
The Business Consultant (BC) identifies, communicates and structures a client’s key decision-problems into a frame-work of strategic - , tactical and operational decision-problems and is able to design a comprehensive solution.
In order to analyze the client’s challenges the BC will formulate and deploy advanced operations research models. Solvers, sensitivity analysis, combinatorial optimization, time series analysis, mathematical statistics are part of the daily vocabulary. The BC will independently develop (or has the potential to develop) proto-type models using Java, C++ or similar languages or use a 4th generation modeling language to analyze decision-problems and provide comprehensive feedback to the client.
The BC understands that the client’s organization and systems are enablers that allow the client to reach his business targets. Having knowledge of different organization structures and information technology, the BC is not only able to provide the client with an in-depth analysis of their decision-problems, but also to draw up a comprehensive implementation plan for the Solutions.
As a good communicator and having excellent presentation skills, the BC is able to direct, motivate and assist the clients with the execution of proposed solutions.
