Essentials job duties:

Under Senior Consulting Team, examine and evaluate operational sequence, material flow, process flow, information flow, functional instructions, organization charts, planning and production schedules providing recommendations to maximize synchronicity, waste elimination, efficiencies, worker & equipment utilization, communication, and through-put in a controlled pace.With Senior Consulting Team, generate ideas for continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation.This is an entry level into our consulting role.

Key Requirements:

Graduated from Industrial Engineering (reputable universities), maximum age 25 years old.Minimum GPA: 3.15 (4.00 Scale)Strong in communication skills, presenting thought and elaborate analytical methods.Strong skills in Line Balancing, Production Planning and Inventory, Statistic, Operational Research, Quality Control.Minimum B for these subject or relevant subjects.Familiarity with Manufacturing Methods, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Continuous Improvement Methodology is an advantage.Willing to work in manufacturing environment and as well as service environment.Proficient in oral and written English is a must.

Job Description:
The Business Consultant (BC) identifies, communicates and structures a client’s key decision-problems into a frame-work of strategic - , tactical and operational decision-problems and is able to design a comprehensive solution.

In order to analyze the client’s challenges the BC will formulate and deploy advanced operations research models. Solvers, sensitivity analysis, combinatorial optimization, time series analysis, mathematical statistics are part of the daily vocabulary. The BC will independently develop (or has the potential to develop) proto-type models using Java, C++ or similar languages or use a 4th generation modeling language to analyze decision-problems and provide comprehensive feedback to the client.

The BC understands that the client’s organization and systems are enablers that allow the client to reach his business targets. Having knowledge of different organization structures and information technology, the BC is not only able to provide the client with an in-depth analysis of their decision-problems, but also to draw up a comprehensive implementation plan for the Solutions.  

As a good communicator and having excellent presentation skills, the BC is able to direct, motivate and assist the clients with the execution of proposed solutions.
